Ringli Factory, Guided Tour of Willisau and Lunch
Let’s discover Willisau… and discover how the hole gets into the Ringli!
Located 35 km outside of Lucerne, the small town of Willisau is rich in historical interest and is home to the famous Willisauer Ringli. Upon meeting at the train station, we will drive to the HUG biscuit factory where member Sonja Kiener, worked for 15 years and was in charge of the HUG Factory Outlet. There you will have the opportunity to taste and buy Hug products in bigger sizes and at better prices, learn the story about the Ringli and see a short film. Then, we will have a guided tour of the town itself whose known history goes back to 1347. Finally, we will drive to Grossdietwil to have lunch at Gasthaus Löwen, famous for its “Wild”. The restaurant is a member of the Gilde Restaurants, a sign of quality. Here is the website link: http://loewen-grossdietwil.ch
